Electric City Culturecast
This half-hour radio broadcast occurred on occasional Wednesday nights and aired at 7pm on Trent Radio, 92.7FM. Adopting a magazine format, the show was hosted by EC3 Executive Director Su Ditta and included news, reviews, and features interviews with people in the local arts, culture, and heritage scene, along with music, an advice column, and a cultural trivia quiz. The show shared upcoming events in the City and highlighted arts and culture initiatives at, or relevant to, Trent University. The radio broadcast premiered in Fall 2017 as an outreach and marketing initiative. It had an estimated 6,500 listeners last season and is also available by podcast through PIP (Peterborough Independent Podcasters), which attracted over 525 unique listeners online.
