Peterborough Arts Awards

The Peterborough Arts Awards are annual awards established to honour  and recognize the excellence and outstanding achievement of professional artists, arts  organizations, and arts supporters living and working in our city and county. There are six  awards of $2,000 each and artists working in any artistic discipline are eligible for nomination.  Finalists each receive a $250 honorarium. 

This program was suspended in 2020, 2021 and 2022 due to Covid. It was replaced by multiple, special, covid recovery programs. EC3 recalibrated the best times for Arts Awards to happen, and we are pleased to announce applications are now open.

The awards are presented at the Mayor’s Luncheon for the Arts. The incumbent Mayor is the  honorary host of the Luncheon, and the event features a keynote speaker as well as  performances and presentations by some of the City’s most outstanding artists.
