As the official voice of the ACH community, EC3 serves as the antennae of the sector, monitoring issues, policy and program initiatives etc. that might impact artists and arts organizations by potentially creating more opportunities or creating barriers to success. We stay in touch with key decision makers and stakeholders, monitor media reports and organize proactively or in response to changes in our environment.

EC3 also plays a strategic leadership role when there is a crisis in the arts community. As an organization that represents over 120 stakeholders, their members and audiences, our voice and our leadership have an impact. EC3 is uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between arts and non-arts community stakeholders. EC3 is called upon to provide support to organizations in crisis and/or to mediate, find common ground, and build partnerships between different organizations.
